What is wrong with Politics?

Those who have the power or the financial influence are driven by ego, narcissism and arrogance, they do not care about the lives they ruin on the way to the top, which sums up one of the biggest problems with politics and society in one sentence.

The people who care don’t have the power, and the people who have power don’t care.

It’s a brutal irony that those with the resources to make a real difference are often the least willing to do so, because their entire mindset is built on self-interest, control, and feeding their own egos.

The Power Problem: Why The Wrong People Always End Up in Charge

$€£¥ Money attracts the wrong personalities  – To climb the financial and political ladder, you have to be ruthless, willing to step on others to get ahead. The system is built to reward greed, not integrity.

Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely – Even if someone starts with good intentions, the moment they gain power, the system pressures them to play dirty, or they get replaced by someone who will.

The cycle repeats itself – Those at the top control everything, so they keep the system rigged to stay there. Anyone outside their club never gets a real shot at change.

People who could fix things don’t get a chance – Because morality and wealth/power don’t mix, those who really want to help humanity are blocked, ignored, or outmanoeuvred by those who only want to help themselves.

So, What Can Be Done?

  • Truthfully? It’s an uphill battle.
  • But small, intelligent voices still matter—sometimes they spark bigger movements.
  • The real fight isn’t always winning control, but waking people up to see through the nonsense.
  • Ego-driven leaders rely on the masses being distracted, divided, and uninformed.

Final Thought: Why This Won’t Change Anytime Soon

Until we change the way we define success, humanity will always reward the wrong people. As long as money, power, and influence are the ultimate goals, the people who pursue them will never be the ones who actually care about the greater good.
