The British Democratic Alliance Pledges
(updated November 6th 2025)
The Nation is in tatters.
It has been undersold, abused, and savaged by government after government for decades. In the pages on this site, we have laid out what we believe must be done to rebuild our nation into a prosperous and harmonious place, one where everyone can live long, happy, contented, and safe lives.
It will not be easy. It will not be fast. We do not claim to have all the answers, nor a magic bullet. That is why we want to engage with the public, to build consensus, and to create real democracy within the decision-making process, wherever it is practical and conceivable to do so.
What follows is not a wish list.
It is a contract between the British Democratic Alliance and the people of the British Isles, every one of you, whether you vote for those who represent our values or not. These are the pledges by which you may hold us to account.
Our Pledges
1.The Surveilance State will be Dismantled
This is priority number 1. This is not China or North Korea. This is England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Irelan, and this is simply “not Cricket old boy!”
Slowly, over several decades, and with increasing speed, the UK have been moving toward a surveilance state, with ANPR cameras watching our avery driven move, street level “security” cameras watching our every footfall and the plan to introduce every more tracking via Digital ID, tracking our bank accounts, pay per mile on the roads and making up prisoners of the state effectively. The British Democrative Alliance say enough is enough. We promise to dismantle this aparatus of oppression, this measly and punitive control method of control by penitious and small minded people who seek power for the sake of seeking power. These nations that for the British Islands belong to the people that live here, not to these power seeking, punitive and life destorying soul destroying people who are damaging the very heart of everyone in these islands. Yes, these are harsh words, but nice polite words are not to be used anymore for those damaging the life of thise nations. It is time to stand up, be counted and take back the heart and souls. The BDA pledges to return real freedom to these Island.
2. Public Transport Reform
We will resolve the mess that is public transport in the UK and create a truly integrated national network, affordable, clean, efficient, and interconnected from local bus to high-speed rail, ferry, and air links.
3. Policing Restored
We will fundamentally reform the Police service in the UK. There will be a return to “bobbies on the beat” and rebuild real community policing, especially in largely forgotten rural and small-town communities, restoring trust and local presence. Closed Police stations will reopen 24/7.
4. Education Rebalanced
We will reform the education system. We will bring back technical colleges and polytechnics to give practical and vocational training; we will restore quality education across the board.
5. A National Mental Health Service
We will end the mental health crisis with the creation of a dedicated National Mental Health Service, separate from the current NHS, it will be integrated in schools, colleges, universities, workplaces, prisons and be available to all.
6. Roads and Infrastructure
We will overhaul the current system of road management, end waste and patchwork maintenance, and introducing national standards for quality, safety, and accountability. The priority will be to keep traffic moving – traffic schemes that have restricted traffic movement and created pollution islands will be moved, and the management will be reworked. This will tie in with the environmental policy below.
7. Environmental Policy Rewritten
We will create a coherent, science-based environmental policy that protects both people and planet, without crippling the economy in the process.
8.Democratic Renewal
We will deliver true democratic reform so that all parts of our society have a voice that is heard, respected, and represented, no more decisions made in Westminster bubbles. The Whip system will be abolished; all MPs will be free to vote by the will of their constituents or their conscience.
9.Justice That Works
We will rebuild the Criminal Justice System from the ground up to make it fit for purpose: faster, fairer, and focused on truth, rehabilitation, and protection of the public. It will not be about winning arguments, it will focus on the truth and accountability, not retribution. What currently works will be maintained, what doesn’t, will be replaced with what does. Many old systems will be discarded to a more modern and professional systems – Judges & Barristers wigs, the current Solicitor and Barrister system – all needs to be overhauled, it harkens to a time long since past and does not give users or the state value for money. The Legal Aid Agency requires a complete overhaul, as does the ability of private prosecution.
10.Fair Taxation for a Fair Nation
We will create a taxation system that is fair, proportionate, and sustainable, funding essential services while encouraging innovation, jobs, and national growth. Government, unions, and business must work together, symbiotically, for mutual prosperity, not pulling apart in different directions.
11.Welfare That Empowers, Not Entraps
We will review and rebuild the welfare system so that real support reaches those who truly need it. Training must benefit people, not private contractors that currently milk the system to the tune of £billions every year for no tangible benefit to anyone except themselves.
As of October 2025, around 53% of working households in the UK receive some form of state benefit (excluding child benefit) an unsustainable figure and a national disgrace.
Our aim is to help people stand tall, independent of government dependency, with dignity and opportunity.
12. A Fair and Humane Immigration Policy
We will create a fair, humane, and balanced immigration policy, one that protects genuine asylum seekers and a controlled number of legal migrants while ensuring that infrastructure, services, and housing are planned responsibly in the background.
There will be no cruel or performative schemes like Rwanda.
The average net immigration into the UK for the last decade was around 232,000 per year, based on revised estimates from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) for the period from YE June 2012 to YE June 2021. However, net migration was a very different picture at the beginning of the period compared to recent years. In the early 2010s, it fluctuated between 200,000 and 300,000 annually, while the period saw a sharp rise to record highs of over 700,000 in 2022 and 2023 before falling significantly in 2024.
We do not state a figure here that we think net migration into the UK should be, but we do think it should not be more than the net number of people emigrating from the UK in any given year, so if in year 1, 50,000 people left the UK, in year 2, then only 50,000 people would be allowed to come and settle here. Not set in stone, but something along those lines would make sense and would be sustainable for any nation.
Our priority will always be the happiness, health, welfare, stability, safety and security of the people of these Islands.
13. Nationwide 4G and 5G Coverage
The services received by the people of these islands is a disgrace, we pay for a premium service and what we receive is, frankly, rubbish, and this especially true for rural communities. Mobile signal is no longer a luxury; it is a safety necessity. We will legislate to require full coverage across every square meter of the British Isles within 24 months. “No signal” will no longer be acceptable. Service providers who fail to meet the requirements of their license will face stiff penalties and maybe the loss of their license.
14. End Hospital Car Park Charges
We will abolish parking charges for NHS staff, patients with valid appointments, and approved contractors. Charging people to work in or visit a hospital is abhorrent. Only non-validated or unauthorised visitors will pay to use hospital car parks.
15. National ID – Not Digital Surveillance
We vehemently oppose the creation of a centralised, trackable Digital ID system.
Instead, we support a simple, secure smart National ID, an upgraded version of the existing photocard driving licence, that provides identification without surveillance, but can be used to prove who you are, where you live and can be used to pay for public transport travel if you choose to link it to a bank account. It would not be mandatory to carry it but would be advisable. Most of us carry some form of ID these days anyway.
These pledges form the foundation of the British Democratic Alliance’s promise to the people.
As we continue to develop detailed policies, this list will grow—but our principle will remain constant:
To rebuild Britain through honesty, accountability, and service on behalf of the people to make their lives better —not power over them.
